Apple Splash Volunteer and Sponsorship Opportunities
On September 20, 2015, the Somerset Community Foundation is sponsoring the first annual Apple Splash ½ Marathon and 5K. A goal of the foundation is to grow the Somerset Forever Fund, the community’s endowment.
We have three goals for this event:
-The first goal is to grow these two races into well respected running events in order to bring in over 1,000 runners each year.
-The second goal is to grow this event into a grand community gathering.
-The third goal is to establish a profitable community fundraiser with financial sponsorships with quality individuals, businesses and organizations.
The SCF is excited about the opportunity of your sponsorship of our community event. We would be interested in a multi-year agreement where your sponsorship may grow along with our event. We would greatly appreciate having you as a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze sponsor.

-In-Kind sponsorships will provide products or services for this event.
-Financial sponsorships will cover our anticipated upfront and operational expenses and/or go directly into the Somerset Forever Fund, our community’s endowment.
-Volunteers are needed for planning, setup, day of event and tear down.
-Providing items for the Silent Auction, which will follow the two races.
